Lit into Song! -- Our Final Concert of the Season

Come join us Sunday at First English Lutheran Church for our Spring Concert, "Lit" into Song. This weekend, under the leadership of Music Director Molly Peterson, The NEW Handel Children's Choir of Baltimore will present a selection of choral works taken from poetry. Concert at 4 pm. FELC is located at 39th and Charles Street in Baltimore City. Tickets available at the door. $20 Adults, $10 Students (12-18) and under 12 is free.

We're so excited! Today we are singing Carmina Burana with the Harford Choral Society at 3 pm at St. Matthew's Church in Bel Air. Facebook link to concert.

Choir members: Since we missed last Monday's rehearsal and this coming Monday is a holiday, Miss Molly asked us to post some practice files for choir members to listen to and practice with 5 or 6 times until we see each other again. The files may be found on our group Yahoo site, here. If you need to join the group to get these files, please click the join button and we will approve you. Or, we'd be happy to email you the mp3 files directly, as they are not big. Just email us at handelchildrenschoir@gmail.com.

No Choir Rehearsal Tomorrow

Dear Choir Families,
Due to the snow, and reported Monday closings of public and private schools, there will be no choir rehearsal tomorrow. Miss Molly is making some mp3s to help singers with pronunciation of Carmina Burana. As soon as she sends them to me, I’ll figure out a way to get them out to you.

Auditions in January 2010

We'll be having open auditions in January 2010 for singers aged 7 to 17. No prior experience necessary, although it is helpful to have had some exposure to reading music. Contact us to reserve an audition slot.

Today's Concert CANCELLED Due to Inclement Weather

Despite our best efforts to relocate under a tent and otherwise accomodate the weather, it has gotten the better of us today. Unfortunately we must cancel today's outdoor concert in Dundalk. Please come see us next Sunday instead, at First English Lutheran Church, 39th & Charles, at 4:00 pm. Tickets $10/$5 students will be available at the door.

Upcoming Concerts December 5 and 13

The NEW Handel Children's Choir of Baltimore will perform at the winter festival in Heritage Park, Dundalk this Saturday, December 5 at 5:15 pm, following the 4:00 pm parade. The concert is FREE! The following weekend, on Sunday, December 13 at 4:00 pm, the Choir will hold its annual Holiday Concert at First English Lutheran Church (see ad to the right =>). Tickets are $10 ($5 for students). Hope to see you there!

Hello friends of The New Handel Children's Choir of Baltimore! We've set up this site to share news and downloadable information with the public. Choir members, we'll still be using our private group site for mail and other internal communications, but please refer your friends and relatives here for the latest concert and ticket info.
